Kids Build Robots

Everyone gets hands on fun at Robot City Workshop. The birthday boy or girl gets to choose from six different DIY robot kits to build.

Prior to building our cool robots kids get to have fun with our flying saucer kit. This little activity introduces kids to electrical power! While having a blast, kids learn about circuits and how they help our robots function.

“Flying saucers are done! Now, it’s time to build our robots!”

Each robot features different birthday party activities. So if Johnny want to have a party in July, Janie can come back in June and have a different kinda party! Check out five of our six options for kid’s birthdays:

1. Doodling Robot - The Doodling Robot by 4M is a staff favorite (as seen on WGN)! After workshops or birthday parties featuring the Doodling Robot kids get to see robot art in action! We had to save some of these fun photos!
2. Box Robot - Looking to keep a party green? This robot party choice actually comes packaged in the robot’s body. Plus, kid’s can decorate it with their own robot style.
3. Robot Duck - A favorite for the little ones, the duck will waddle its way into the cutest robot category.
4. Robo Bug - Bugs may be gross but robo bugs are awesome. It even glows in the dark!
5. Smart Robot - Our store’s number one seller! Get ready for a robot maze race to see which robot is the “smartest.”

In Store or Off Site Birthday Parties

RCW offers in store birthday parties on both Saturday and Sunday. Parties are two hours. Schedule a party for either 11:30 or 3:00p.m. The cost is $40 per child and includes the cost of the robot, all paper goods and a Robot City T-shirt for the birthday boy or girl.
