Jibo the Robot
The World’s First Social Robot

Meet JIBO.

Jibo is the worlds first social robot made specifically for the home. Much like Rosie from The Jetson’s (kids, ask your parents), Jibo is meant not to be a tool to help accomplish a task, but instead a part of the family.

So what does Jibo do?

A better question is what doesn’t Jibo do?! According to the robots home page Jibo can do lots of stuff:

  • Utilize his senses: Jibo has the ability to track faces allowing for interactive video in addition to creating easy conversation with the entire family.
  • Learn, Teach, and Relate: With sophisticated interface, Jibo learns and teaches your family allowing for better relationships and learning potential.
  • Make things easier: Convenience is key and Jibo works tirelessly to make sure you don’t have to.

The Nuts and Bolts behind Jibo

Considered a living character property, Jibo is a digital assistant transactional in nature. This means that Jibo is meant to be a partner to you and your family. The natural interface, portability and 360 degree rotational capability is literally years in the making.

Set Up

Simply linking the bot with your home’s WiFi network and introducing yourself, set up is a breeze.

Where can I find Jibo for my home?
