Day Off Camp MLK Day 2016
MLK Day Off Camp for Your Child
RobotCity’s MLK Day 2016 camp is another full day of fun for your child where education meets entertainment!
Mornings are once again geared towards younger students (6-9) & afternoons are geared towards older students (9-12). However, children are still welcome and encouraged to attend full day camp as the morning time will get more advanced students warmed up for a more complex robot! Young kids attending the afternoon camp will be challenged and have extra help with one of our awesome robot instructors.
Morning campers enrolled in MLK Day 2016 camp will be building a soda can robot while afternoon campers will be building a mechanical ostrich.
As always with our Day Off Camps students get to take these two robots home to keep.
Building robots is a great way to keep kids engaged in a fun, hands-on activity while learning things that can spark an interest for robotics, engineering, programming or general science.
Plus, not only do students get to build robots they also get to experiment with different educational activities set on furthering their interest in robot related subjects. Some of the more popular educational activities include the Cubelets and Motors and Generators.
